Jabberwocky

This weeks project was a bit different than building a new website from scratch, this time we were provided with the HTML and were told to create our own CSS for the page. This comes from a site called CSS Zen Garden, where it demonstrates how even though the same HTML is used the pages can look completely different from each other with the use of CSS.

We were given the HTML for a page about the legend of the Jabberwocky, and here are my first sketches on how I wanted this page to look:

My final page ended up looking like my second sketch. I know that I wanted a scratchy looking banner, and an old look for the text with an eerie sort-of color scheme.
